My fourth year design project for a structure to support the activities around extensive mara kai at Ihumātao, as part of Unitec’s Te Hononga Maori Architecture Studio. People of all ages can be seen walking and cycling to the building and greeting each other. There is space for a farmers market inside the building, which looks towards the maunga.
